TAUKO Magazine is a pioneering independent print publication for home sewists and fashion and culture lovers, who have a big heart for the planet. It has its headquarters in Helsinki and Berlin and is founded and published by art researchers, fashion designers, makers, and passionate fighters for planetary wellbeing, Kaisa Rissanen and Mila Moisio.

Its international network of contributors, designers, writers, photographers, and illustrators share the need to bring mindful and beautiful work to the world.

Published quarterly. Each issue features more than 10 sewing pattern designs created by celebrities and newcomers from the sewing community. A carefully curated selection makes design clothing accessible to anyone willing to try out sewing and learn new skills. With actual-size paper patterns, easy guidelines, agile images, and illustrations, we wish to make the sewing experience empowering, exciting and fun. The vast horizon of crafts, culture, and climate is featured in interviews, columns, articles, tips, and recommendations by our international contributors.

TAUKO stands for a break or a pause in Finnish. It describes a strong, silent, and still movement that is almost impossible to notice.

We really want your wonderful book/magazine to come safe and in perfect condition. In case the item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

If you or someone else accidentally damages the book/magazine, we can't take responsibility for those actions and the item will not be replaced.

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If you wish to return your item, send us an e-mail no later than 14 days after you received it.
Please contact us first if you have any problem with your valuable item.

Make sure the address of delivery is correct and there are all elements necessary to identify the exact delivery address (first/ last name/number on the intercom, floor, mobile phone number for quick contact, etc).
Once the product is securely wrapped it will be shipped via courier and you will receive a tracking number. All items are shipped from Labin, Croatia. Book/magazine is in our gallery and you can collect it there or we can ship it within 2-3 business days.
For orders in Croatia, your product should arrive in 3 - 10 business days (depending on location).
For other countries: 5 - 15 business days

Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.
