Sali e Tabacchi #2
Named after the signage of Italian tobacconists, Sali e Tabacchi is an exploration of 'Italy behind closed doors' through the words and images of Italian creatives.
A publication which explores the relationship between the creative arts and Italy's unknown rituals, habits and traditions.
Inspired by ideas of the village fool and the fine line between absurdity and reality, this issue is themed Follia Creatrice and explores: 'the relationship between genius and madness, creativity and mental illness, and its multiple nuances in relation to gender; local activism and performances; tales, legends, and collective hallucinations; art therapy; outsider music and other elements linked to the genius of creative folly.'
