Black Ice series was shot in October 2018. at the famous Diamond beach on Iceland. Crystal clear iceberg pieces become interesting and strange dark formations wrapped with vulcanic black sand carried by strong wind.

​

Carefully planed to capture it in the afternoon while the Sun casts warm light and emphasize textures, building the atmosphere with tension and calmness at the same time.

Those sand particles surely made their own way to fill our boots and clothes !

Thanks to high quality print, you can almost feel the sand slipping through your fingers.
